Information for Faculty and Staff

The lack of health insurance for millions of American children remains one of the greatest challenges facing our nation. Because the majority of our children attend school on a daily basis, it is important that we have the cooperation of administrators, teachers, social workers, and other professionals to help us get the word out about the benefits of the Maryland Children’s Health Program and MCHP Premium.  Baltimore City Public Schools have become the single greatest source of MCHP application submissions to Baltimore HealthCare Access in the past year.

Special Events and Activities

Baltimore HealthCare Access is available to visit your school, attend registration days, PTA meetings, Parent-Teacher Nights, or other gatherings to inform parents and youth about MCHP, distribute materials and assist in completing applications. Please click on “MCHP/School Health Materials Outreach Kit” below if you or your school would like to receive Maryland Children’s Health Program outreach materials and information. Please call for details or to schedule our participation in an event.
